"All's Right With the World!"

At least as far as SPRING is concerned here in South Dakotaland!!!

I know, I know. Most everyone else in other states is in the tail end of Spring, but here in the Black Hills, we just went to sleep one night a couple of weeks ago, & when we woke up...

VOILA!!!

The Spring Fairy had waved her magic wand over our land & we knew that Winter had surrendered finally & completely to her  wiles & so, after many rains which swept away any remnants of brown, enter the vibrant greens that are so vivid we have to put on our springly  sunglasses to endure the visual joys of greens that almost seem phosphorescent!

Can you spy the bunny just across from the top of the barrel on the right?

Spring flowers accented by kitty Taco dreaming of playing with the bunny. (Hmmm... 😼)

Just beginning...

I love this little vintage kettle! & the pink 'Bacopa' is one of my favorite Spring flowers.

Pansies, also one of my favorite Spring flowers.
Everything is in its infancy stage.

The beginning of the new year is January, but the be-
ginning of the season of new life in natures kingdom is Spring!

BaBiEs, BaBiEs, BaBiEs!!!!

KaaaYute!!! 👶

& happy, happy singing (&eating) birds!

The Meadowlark & the Robin are two harbinger birds of Spring. Their songs are so joyful & exuberant! 🎵
I like to sit out on the little back porch in the early morning, when I take doggie Rosie out for her morning toilette, & the birdsong is a welcome prelude to the new day. The sun has just made it's appearance, the skies are barely azure & not a breath of wind. The fragrance of lilacs carried from a nearby farm is delicious, plus all of the little fragrances that are unidentifiable but sweet.  Even the weighty smell of soil being turned to prepare it for planting is a delightful bouquet in Spring because it is the fragrance of hope, the preview of things to come. & it just plain ol' smells good! These are the days you just want to hug because they are filled with "a number of things" to do & experience, this earth's yearly renewal, that says with a gentle laugh,
"I'm baaaack." Spring always has the last word to Winter.
"If winter comes, can Spring be far behind?"
Not in May in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
This is the season for being born again.
& maybe it's your season to be born again in your heart, to know the love & reality, truth & forgiveness of Jesus Christ, to have Him breathe His Life into your being, to bring His fellowship, His joy, His peace, His order & calm, His rest into your disheveled & chaotic world. & it does seem like the world is spinning insanely out of control doesn't it? But not to worry. Nothing is out of HIS control.
"Come unto Me, all who are weary & heavy laden & I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you & learn from me for I am gentle & humble of heart, & you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy & my burden is light."
Matthew 11:28-30
It is so restful to just turn everything over to Jesus.
If the winter of your heart comes,
can the Spring of your heart be far behind?
To everything there is a time, a season.
There is a time to be born.
There is a time to be born again.
Let today be your time for Spring Jesus to come to your heart.

"The year's at the Spring,
& day's at the morn;
Mornings at seven;
The hillside's dew pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
the snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven-
All's right with the world!"
(Robert Browning)

Is Spring Jesus in your heart? Then all's right with your world too!

Raintree Perk of the Day:
"....shows what God can do with a drab & dirty world."
with our hearts world too...
